Preparing Myself to Deal with A Miracle is the second studio album of musician Jake Joseph.
I wanted to create a visual identity with a bold and recognizable motif that could be replicated but remain cohesive with other promotional work to create the feeling of a universe that the project lives in. The organic copy-scanned texture used throughout the rollout instilled the DIY and found-sound's reflected in the music

This project was created with physical media distribution in mind so the package design followed the art direction. Scanned and distressed images and text continued the found and scrapbooked online visuals into a real life tangible piece.

Music videos and visualizers were also created for this album's release with assistance from Capital P Productions. Two single have music videos attached. Metalhead used distorted black and white scanned images to create an abrasive and alarming visual. While Kind Gesture used slow shutter and saturated colors to create a disorienting and psychedelic visual.
